Hamza Yusuf emerges (once again) as tool of US imperialism

The fraud “sheikh” Hamza Yusuf has once again shown himself to be little more than a tool of US imperialism. He first emerged in this role after 9/11/01, when he declared himself a “progressive Muslim” and gave himself up for service to the Bush regime that had begun its onslaught on Muslims of Afghanistan and Iraq. Here he attacks the Shi’a leadership of Iran and Lebanon, and then calls for “non-sectarianism.” This is of-course completely bogus, and it reflects Hamza Yusuf’s own sectarainist leaning. Note that the rally explicitly calls for “intervention” – no doubt more arms from the imperialist club to slaughter more Muslims in Syria.
